Military Discount Pricing at Shades of GreenFor pricing, Disney divides servicemen into three eligibility categories. Category 1 can receive up to $36 discount on a standard or poolside room. Junior Suites and family Suites are the same price for each category of guest. Guests at all Disney resorts are eligible to receive discounted admission to the theme parks. Park Hopper passes and single admission tickets are available at the front desk. Other Orlando Military DiscountsDisney offers a Stars and Stripes Pass for active military personnel. The pass gives discounted admission to theme parks with valid identification. Military.com lists several discounts for shows, restaurants and other Orlando area attractions, just for servicemen. Military families traveling to Orlando would be wise to shop around, the military discounts vary greatly from one hotel to another. Hyatt, Marriott and Starwood all offer hotel discounts for servicemen, as do several other Orlando hotels and restaurants. Shades of Green is one of five armed forces recreation centers operating currently.
